Our verdict:

The Final Cut Studio 2 Retail program is worth every single penny that Apple is selling if for! Even though Avid seems to have become a general favorite, we believe that the applications being offered on the Final Cut Studio 2 Retail program super exceed all that Avid has to offer, x 10! For example, Avid does not include applications specifically designed to bring your digital home videos into the High Definition quality that has come to be expected of all artists, that is, not as efficiently, any way. This is one of the main reasons we have come to recommend the Final Cut Studio 2 Retail program.

However, if you remain absolutely “avid” in the maintain of your software loyalty, we also recommend that you look into the necessary plug-ins in order to upgrade your videos to HD quality, even though the overall professional look will not compare (in our opinion).
