According to all of the customer reviews that we have come across, the Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum Pro Pack is actually a rather impressive suite to own, offering artists a wide range of editorial applications that no other program out there will be able to offer. A statement like that perked our ears, as only the programmers themselves would state something so audacious. This was what was claimed to be the case, but, of course, we had to investigate before we would ever feel comfortable enough to either recommend or curse this product.
What we found was rather interesting! The Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum Pro Pack offers editorial applications that no other program offers, and the reason behind this is largely due to the massive platform. The applications featured in the Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum Pro Pack can all be found elsewhere, however, you would be spending close to $500.00 if you wanted everything that this program delivers from other programs currently on the market. Much to our surprise, when we started researching what the customers were saying about the new Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 program, we had an extremely difficult time trying to find something negative. When it comes to editing programs, there always seems to be at least one or two bugs that still exist within the program. This is absolutely understandable and common for brand new technology to have a few unresolved issues, needed updates and further plug – in necessities. That is why it was extremely surprising that the Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 customers were not bringing up anything of the sort, so, naturally, we decided to review this product, because, as far as software is concerned, “seeing is believing.”
What we found surprised us even more than when we discovered that the customers seemed to only have great things to say about this product… we couldn’t find anything wrong with it either! The only thing that we did experience was a slight delay when we tried to upload one of our projects, but we later found that it was due to our system needing updating, not the program itself. That being said, we would like to extend our recommendations for purchasing this product! For once, we have no reservations in doing so!

After running across the Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum Edition software, we were immediately intrigued and decided to investigate whether or not the customers were happy with the brand new edition. What we found was not what we expected. It seems that every single customer review held a both a praise about this new editing product, but it also held a negative comment, saying that the software was, indeed, worth purchasing, but only with a word of caution. Since these reviews were not conclusive, we decided to purchase the product so we could generate our own review.
What we found was that the Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum Edition program was, in fact, a rather impressive piece of editing technology, however there were a few bugs that were still floating around the system. Nothing major, however! The worst bug that we came across was the slow uploading of our digital videos, but once the file was uploaded, the editing process proceeded smoothly, offering us abilities that our former digital editing software was simply unable to offer us. That being said, we do desire to offer a word of caution: if you are in search for a new digital video / photo editor and still have a decently equipped previous edition of the Sony Vegas, then it might be within your best interest to hold off for just a few more months until all of the updates required to eliminate the existing bugs have been developed. If you do not have any editing program at your disposal, then go ahead and purchase this product.

Even though the ARCSOFT company has declared that their ShowBiz DVD program has become the main attraction among digital video artists, the customer reviews that have flooded all of the many software forums lately suggest otherwise. Since the ShowBiz DVD program has been released, there seems to be a general dissatisfaction over what this program can do, namely the creation of a tangible DVD, that is, the actual burning of the final product. This “small” defect has created a vast sense of horror among video artists lately, as all of the reviews point to a wide spread disappointment as a result of their “shattered dreams of actually publishing their life’s work.”
Since all of these customer reviews have been suggesting that the new ShowBiz DVD program needs to kick the bucket, we still wanted to test it out ourselves just to be sure these statements are, in fact, authentic. What we have found has become rather disheartening! The majority of the customer reviews we have come across for the new Roxio Creator 2009 program has been the rantings of a less than satisfied artist. Based on the promises of what this new Roxio release will provide, these artists are claiming that this program is actually more “clunky” than anything else, suggesting that the prior year’s Roxio software release actually holds a largely sense of professional quality.
That being said, we have also started using the new Roxio Creator 2009 program, and, though we hate to side with the customers when their reviews are so grim feeling, we have to respectfully agree. This program does hold in its position a rather impressive High Definition quality to it, however, with that being said, to get from the first frame edit to the point of completing your final product, it is less than, shall we say, user friendly. Our verdict: pitiable, but only if you have already purchased the Roxio Creator 2008 edition.
